1. China Stocks Drop to 4-Month Low
The Shanghai Composite Index retreated 4.45 to 2,700.70 at the close, the lowest since Jan. 25, after lending slumped in May and money supply grew at the slowest pace since 2008.

Net income of the Japanese carmaker may increase to US$$248M in the 12 months ending March 31 from a year earlier. Global vehicle sales may rise to 1.17M from 1.05M last year.

The country's largest carrier said its board approved a plan to acquire the new planes by 2017 at a cost of US$3.9B to modernize its fleet. It will buy 14 Boeing and 23 Airbus.

The phase-out fuel subsidies by 2014 would help the country easing the burden on the state budget. Its 2011 budget deficit will probably exceed the government's assumption of 1.8% of GDP, due to higher-than-expected crude oil prices.
