1. 日本6月汽車銷售按年跌23%
上月銷量降至22.5萬輛,是連續10個月下跌。豐田銷量倒退38%至8.7671萬輛,本田銷量回落32%。日產則逆市上升4.2%。
2. 中國製造業擴張28個月最慢
6月官方採購經理指數報50.9,前一個月為52。另6月匯豐中國採購經理指數為50.1,5月為51.6,其中新訂單指數創11個月最低。
3. 亞洲市連升4日
希臘危機紓緩,摩根士丹利亞太指數造好,上升0.5%。日經平均指數進賬0.5%,南韓首爾指數則上揚1.2%。
4. 南韓料今年出口貨值5,570億美元
有關估計高於去年12月時預測的5,130億美元。出口按年增幅因而達到19.4%。全年順差額為290億美元,原先為250億美元。
5. 澳門6月博彩收入增52.4%

1. Japan Car Sales Drop 23% on Year
The nation sold 225,024 vehicles last month. Toyota's deliveries fell 38% from a year earlier to 87,671, excluding Lexus-brand cars. Sales at Honda fell 32% to 30,040. However, Nissan recorded a 4.2% gain.
2. China Manufacturing Slips to Slowest in 28 Months
The official Purchasing Managers' Index was at 50.9 in June, compared with 52 in May. HSBC's index also fell to 50.1 in June from 51.6 in May, with the slowest increase in new orders in 11 months.
3. Asian Stocks Climb for 4th Day
The MSCI Asia Pacific Index jumped 0.5% on optimism Greece will avoid default. Japan's Nikkei 225 Stock Average climbed 0.5% as S Korea's Kospi Index gained 1.2%.
4. S Korea Raises 2011 Exports Forecast to US$557B
The country estimated the shipment value at US$513B last Dec. It expects exports will grow 19.4% from a year earlier, leaving a trade surplus of US$29B, more than the previously forecast of US$25B.
5. Macau June Casino Revenue Gains 52.4%
Revenue rose to US$2.6B last month. Total gaming revenue for the territory reached US$15.52B in the 6 months ending June, 45% more than a year earlier.
6. Japan Tankan Index Drops to Minus 9
The quarterly index of sentiment at large manufacturers slid to the lowest level since Mar 2010. Its core consumer prices also rose by a higher-than-expected 0.6% last month. Jobless rate declined to 4.5% in May.
7. India Fuel Sales Jump 6% on Year
The country sold 13.14M metric tons of fuel in May. Diesel sales climbed 11% to 5.86M tons and gasoline sales was up 8%. That was the 7th consecutive monthly increase.
8. S Korea Inflation Rises 4.4%
The June year-on-year consumer prices increase was up from 4.1% in the previous month due to higher prices for food and transportation. The inflation rate has been above 4% for 6 straight months.
9. Thousands Take Part in HK March
200,000 protestors were reportedly taking part in the annual July 1 pro-democracy march. Among their primary concerns were growing dissatisfaction with government policy and high property prices.
10. Bangladesh Landslide Kills at Least 5
A big chunk of earth from a hill buried several thatched homes of the victims. Rescuers have recovered 5 bodies and 2 survivors from the rubble, and the death toll was expected to rise.
