1. China Nets US$6.1B Japan Debt in May
It was the 2nd largest monthly purchase on record and the 8th consecutive monthly purchase. China was a net seller of US$8.67 billion of Japanese short-term notes.
 
2. KB Sells Treasury Stake to Raise US$1.7B
The S Korean financial giant's bank unit sold its 9.05% stake of its treasury shares at the middle of its indicative range, which has a discount of between 2.8% and 3.55% to Thurday's closing price.
 
3. Citi to Repurchase US$136M of Lehman Notes
The Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission said the offer covers about 92% of customers holding the outstanding notes. Citigroup Inc. will pay 80% of the value of each customer's investment.
