1.亞洲股創3月來最大兩日跌幅
美國經濟數據差,導致摩根士丹利亞太指數下挫2.4%,兩日累計跌4%,是3月15日以來最大幅度。日經平均指數下降2.1%,香港恆生指數也倒退1.91%。
2. 渣打銀行半年盈利升19%
該香港上市銀行,在截至6月底止的半年盈利為25.7億元。渣打業績受惠於香港及新加坡的業務有強勁表現,抵消了印度業務的倒退。
3. 中國服務業擴張步伐加快
官方的7月非製造業採購經理指數為59.6,前一個月為57。而匯豐制訂的經季節性商務活動指數,則由54.1降至53.5。
4. 山葉調高年度盈利目標至4.53億美元

1. Asian Stocks Fall Most Since Mar
The Morgan Stanley Asia Pacific Index fell 2.4%, adding the 2-day decline to 4%, the steepest since Mar 15. Japan's Nikkei dropped 2.1% while Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index retreated 2%.

5. Thailand Gold Reserves Increase to 4.07M Ounces in June
The country owned 3.523 million ounces of gold in May. It purchased 9.3 tons of gold to its reserve in Mar. Bullion accounted for 2.9% of Thailand's total reserves.
6. India Said to Give State-owned Refiners US$3.4B Subsidy
India Oil and its rivals will get compensation for selling fuel below cost. The payment was for the 3 months ended June 30, about half of the US$6.57 billion the industry requested.

Government officials said Red Cross will offer the food aid to N Korea. This came after the nuclear envoys of two Koreas met last month during a regional security from Indonesia.

Lawmakers of the nation will decide whether Yingluck Shinawatra will become first female PM. Her Puea Thai party and its partners command a three-fifths majority in the lower house in July.
