1. 歐債危機惡化 亞洲股市回落
在希臘確認無法達到削赤指標後,日本日經指數急跌1.8%,香港恆生指數更挫4.4%,收報16822.15。
2. 日本景觀指數好轉
9月的大型企業景觀指數為正2,優於6月時的負9,與市場預期相符。正值代表樂觀企業較悲觀企業為多。
3. 泰國最大採油商料明年收入增一成
泰國石油開採估計,來自加拿大、越南、澳洲及本國的新增油產,可刺激生產量上升。該公司估計,今年的日產量為26.9萬桶。
4. 中國9月服務業指數錄增長
非製造業的採購經理指數升1.7點至59.3。新訂單指數增長放緩1.3點,而進口原材料價格也回落0.3點。
5. 生力啤棄10億美元改造電廠計劃
菲律賓巨擘表示,已取消了把一座620兆瓦燃油電廠改為天然氣電廠的安排,並且計劃出售該廠。生力啤在2009年以1,350萬美元購入有關電廠。
6. 印度製造業指數2年半最低
9月的採購經理指數報50.4,低於前一個月的52.6,也是2009年3月以來最低。這是因為中央銀行接連加息壓抑通脹,以致經濟放緩。
7. 新加坡第三季樓價升1.3%
政府表示,第三季的住宅樓價按季漲幅初值,是低於前一季的2%及首季的2.2%。有關數據的終值,將於本月稍後時間公布。
8. 越南首9月外商直接投資按年跌28%
該國政府公布,截至9月底止外資承諾在當地的投資額為99億美元。已支付的外商直接投資額,則按年上升2%至82億美元。

1. Asia Stocks Plummet after Greece Misses Deficit Target
The Nikkei 225 index fell 1.8% on concerns Greece's admission it won't meet its deficit reduction target. Hong Kong's Hang Seng slumped 4.4% to close at 16822.15.
2. Japan Tankan Index Improved in Sep
The index measuring sentiment among large manufacturers climbed to 2 last month, up from minus 9 in June. A positive number means optimists outnumber pessimists.
3. Thailand Biggest Explorer Sees 10% Growth in Sales Next Year
PTT Exploration expects its sales will be boosted by increasing production in Canada, Vietnam, Australia and the its home country. Sales this year are estimated at 269,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day.
4. China Non-Manufacturing Activity Rises
The Purchasing Managers' Index for the non-manufacturing sector gained 1.7 points to 59.3 in September from a month earlier. New orders growth eased as the input prices fell 0.3%.
5. San Miguel to Sell Power Plant
The Philippine giant decided to sell its oil-fired plant after dropping a US$1 billion plan to convert it to use natural gas. It acquired the plant for US$13.5 million in 2009.
6. India Manufacturing Expands at Slowest Pace in 2½ Years
The Purchasing Managers' index in September was down to 50.4 from 52.6 in the previous month, the lowest since Mar 2009. The nation increased its interest rate to curb inflation, leading to a slow economic growth.
7. Singapore Property Prices up 1.3% in Q3
The estimated quarter-on-quarter increase of private home prices was compared with gains of 2% in Q2 and 2.2% in Q1. The government will give a final update later this month.
8. Vietnam Pledged FDI Down 28%
The country attracted US$9.9 billion committed investment from foreign firms in January to September. Disbursed FDI gained 2% to US$8.2 billion in the period.
9. 10 Dead or Missing as Ship Runs Aground off Taiwan
The Panama-registered cargo vessel ran aground in heavy seas off the northern Taiwanese coast, leaving 4 crew members dead and 6 missing. Another 11 sailors were rescued.
10. Aid Rushed to Philippine Flood Victims
The authority delivered aid to thousands of people marooned in their flooded homes for nearly a week after two typhoons killed 58 people and left 28 missing. Another 360,000 people are evaluated.
